​​MAGNA SUSTAINABILITY In 2003, when we founded the first bilingual school of Environmental Engineering and obtained the Bellwether National Education Award. We were clear that sustainable development would be part of our reason for being. In 2007 we designed the sustainable development center in Virginia, and in 2009, we participated as Hispanic consultants in the creation of the United States green building code. Later, representing Colombia before the OAS, we designed the rehabilitation of Haiti in 2010, a project that received recognition among the two thousand most sustainable projects in the world. Then we created in Colombia the first award for construction sustainability in Latin America in 2011 after being certified as Green Advantage in the USA, both in residential and commercial. With the opening of the Hispanic Center for circular economy and one green stop, the first online marketplace for sustainable construction products in the USA, we managed to open our way to 2030. To this, we currently add the construction of our own projects, where we seek to obtain the maximum benefit from materials and resources for society, uniting the principles of sustainable construction with those of the circular economy, LEAN construction, and BIM in a single umbrella known as our concept of maximum value.
